Mom was created on October 18, 1916 in Winnipeg. Within the time of six she moved, along with her parents, to Dallas, MB. She lived there until she was 19, then she left to check out Winnipeg to build her fortune. She came home to have a visit and our Dad came over and asked her to marry him. She agreed!!! They were married August 7, 1938 that is how her life in Red Rose started. She worked hard, in Red Rose, with Dad and raised five children. On February 16, 1982 Dad passed away. Mom continued to farm alone until she got ill from the fall of 2003. She moved around her daughter Delores and then she lived there for 4 years. In November of 2006 she went into Deer Lodge Care home, until her passing. Mom loved her cattle, chickens, garden and everything to use the old fashioned technique for farming. A day of efforts made her happy. Mom cannot drive but after Dad died she learned to be effective the Massey. She looked grave driving in her own A W toque, with your ex wife dog, Goldie, running beside. We always enjoy enjoying Mom's stories belonging to the middle ages times.
